Contract Projects

CAMEL engages in several landscape-scale research and cultural heritage projects. Besides providing training to graduate and undergraduate students and creating opportunities for them to present and publish their research, the lab is interested in forming collaborations within the University of Chicago and beyond. The lab welcomes the involvement of faculty, students, staff, volunteers, and visitors in its current research.  We also welcome the opportunity to support students and scholars on their research projects and to collaborate with interested individuals or groups on laboratory-based landscape archaeology work.

The lab’s history of collaboratively developing innovative methods and approaches within the Near Eastern landscape archaeology field enables us to support existing research projects and we are interested to learn about new potential partnerships.
